With Time Doctor, you can track how much time each of your employees spends on their JIRA issues and projects.
For any date range you choose, Time Doctor will also show you:
- How long it takes each employee to complete their JIRA projects.
- The time worked by each employee on JIRA and non-JIRA tasks.
- What each employee is currently working on in real time.
Tracked time also appears on your JIRA dashboard.
In addition to the beautiful reports that Time Doctor produces, the time tracking data is sent back to JIRA so that you and your team can easily track the time spent on each issue right from your JIRA dashboard.
An example of where JIRA displays Time Doctor's stats can be seen in the image on the left. Time tracked on issues with Time Doctor is accurate to the second. You will never have to wonder how much time you have spent on each issue.
How does it work?
Once your employees install the Time Doctor desktop application to their computers, they will have access to each JIRA issue that has been assigned to them to complete. To start tracking time spent on a particular issue, the employee simply has to click on it.
The time tracked is then sent to the Time Doctor and JIRA servers where it will appear in reports. Time Doctor has desktop apps available for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
Screenshots of JIRA Issues (Optional)
Time Doctor can also take screenshots of your employees’ computers at the time interval that you specify. This feature is optional but can be particularly helpful when you have employees working remotely and you are unable to walk by their desks to see what they are working on.
Screenshot thumbnails can be expanded into medium or full-sized versions. Levels of keyboard and mouse activity are displayed below each screenshot.
