Google Workplace Time Tracking

Google Workplace Time Tracking

Track how much time your team really spends on various Google Apps.

The Time Doctor Chrome extension will show you real-time data for how much time an employee spends on different Google apps such as email, drive, calendar etc.

You will also be able to:

  • Get details of time spent on different Google Apps, including name of Google Drive file or email subject.
  • Find out long it takes to complete different tasks on Google Apps.
  • Automatic timesheets and Time Doctor’s in-depth analytics.

How does it work?

When your employees install the Time Doctor desktop software and the Time Doctor Chrome extension on their computers, the software will show a timer button on Google Apps such as Mail, Drive etc. Employees simply need to click on the button to start tracking time for a task.

All of the data tracked using the Time Doctor timer, including the reports and timesheets, will be synced in real-time and stored in your Time Doctor account, which can be accessed via the web or via native apps in Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Time tracking beyond Google Apps

In addition to the time worked on events within Google Apps, the Time Doctor Chrome extension can track other types of data. For example, Time Doctor can show you the websites and applications that each employee uses while working.

Time Doctor can also take screenshots of your employees' computers while they are working so that you can see what projects they are working on from your own computer.

Supported on both Time Doctor 2 and Time Doctor Classic

Time Doctor’s chrome extension supporting Google Apps integration is available on both Time Doctor Classic and Time Doctor 2.
